About Us
Dr Sepehr Sadeghi is a New Zealand–trained ophthalmologist with advanced subspecialty training in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery.
Dr Sadeghi’s journey in ophthalmology began with a passion for helping people see the world clearly. After earning his medical degree with a Professional Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in 2010, he trained at several major centres across New Zealand, developing a deep expertise in eye health.
Driven to sub specialise further, he completed fellowship training in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery in both New Zealand and Australia. Today, as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), Dr Sadeghi combines decades of experience with cutting-edge surgical techniques. He holds specialist recognition in both Australia and New Zealand.
As a vitreoretinal surgeon, Dr Sadeghi manages a wide range of complex retinal and macular conditions such as retinal detachment, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and diabetic retinopathy. He also performs complex cataract surgery and secondary intraocular lens implantation.
Dr Sadeghi is supported by a highly skilled and dedicated team, from experienced nurses and technicians to patient coordinators, all focused on delivering personalised, seamless care. Together, they ensure every patient receives expert attention, advanced treatment options, and the confidence that their vision is in capable hands.
